First Bankathon focusing on Central & Eastern Europe (CEE)
After three very successful events in Germany we are thrilled to host our first event in a different country! Our first stop will be in Vienna and have a focus on Austria and Eastern Europe!
Bankathon CEE is organised by figo & IntraBase and has the strong support of the whole banking industry. Additionally, we have partnered with Pioneers Festival which will happen right after Bankathon CEE and provides our winners the perfect opportunity to pitch their hack!
All stakeholders of the financial service industry are on board at our first Bankathon CEE. The only one who is missing is you!
Are you a friendly hacker who wants to transform the industry? Registration is open now but tickets will not be available for very long. So be quick! We also have limited tickets for non-technical hackers.
We are aiming to have around 5-6 API partners at Bankathon CEE. These API providers will be present during the whole event with technical people to support you – so you can get the most out of their APIs. Nevertheless, you can use any API you have access to at that point of time – no restriction from our side!
The figo banking API allows you to connect to any bank account and read out data or initate payments.
The Gini API allows you to understand documents and extract relevant information for your service.
We are on the hunt for other APIs and will announce them soon. Stay tuned!
At Bankathon it is all about code. During your final presentation we just want to see two things: passion and your prototype. No slides allowed.
This is a hackathon and not a pitching contest! Therefore, you have develop the whole hack at the event. We will do a code check to ensure equality.
Max. 4 team members
The team size should be between 2 and 4 team members. Choose wisely as all of you have to perform on a top level to win!
We have not finalised the schedule for the event yet. What is certain is that the hacking will be on 30th and 31st of May with final presentations on the evening of 31st May. The final presentations will be open for guests (registration required). On the 29th we will have a kickoff event where we will present all required details so you can start on the 30th right away!
